How to flick

Desktop: press a red base, drag away from your target, then release. Right-drag rotates the table; scroll zooms.

Controllers: point at a red base, hold the trigger, pull your pointing spot back and release.

Hands: pinch near a red base, pull your hand back, then open your fingers. For distant pieces, point and pinch.

Possession & defence

Every attacking flick must hit the ball. A miss immediately switches possession. No free kick unless a foul occurs.
Before the next attack, defence has one positioning or tackling flick within ten seconds total. The window closes after one move or when time expires; a flick already moving is allowed to settle. Then control passes to the keeper. Defensive ball-first contact is a legal tackle and can win possession. A defensive miss simply uses one defensive move.
Possession continues on a teammate pass. It changes if the first receiving figure is an opponent, or after a foul, ball out or goal. An uncontrolled pass or rebound becomes a loose ball: the next legal challenge decides possession.
A goal counts when the whole ball crosses between the posts and below the crossbar. Use Loft to chip over a wall; too much loft can send the shot over.
Throughout the AI attacking turn, grab the gold keeper rod and move your keeper left/right or forward/backward. After a save, you have ten seconds to push the ball away or choose Clear ball. Before a shot, position your keeper. Press Keeper ready. The shot is already committed.

Restarts & match rules

Kick-in: a free kick on the touchline, awarded against the last team to touch the ball. The nearest outfield teammate is automatically placed outside the line to take it.
End line: defender touched last = corner; attacker touched last = goal kick.
Hit the ball first and subsequent figure contact is legal. Hit an opponent before the ball = foul. Inside the offending team’s own penalty area: penalty. Elsewhere: free kick at the contact point.
At free kicks, corners and goal kicks, the nearest suitable taker is selected. Each team may move one other outfield figure along a clear path. Restarting team goes first. Green ring means legal placement; red means too close.
Free kicks near goal form a two-player wall where space allows. Green rings show eligible figures; gold marks the nominated restart taker.
If the ball remains trapped for several turns, figures separate for a free-kick restart to the team in possession.
After a goal, the scoring team celebrates together for 5 seconds, then everyone resets. Two halves of 20 ball actions. At half-time teams swap ends and Away kicks off; the score is retained. Full time follows action 40. No offside.
